WEDDING SERVICE GUIDE
Compare all 6 plans — friend, coworker, relative, parent, after-party, and groom — across pricing, content, and features.
Arrange multiple roles at once. We propose custom plans tailored to your ceremony — such as 3 friends + 2 relatives + 1 reception staff.
Even if it's your first time using a proxy service, our clear explanations of pricing structures and option selections ensure you won't feel lost.
Our professional stand-in service can solve these challenges.

What's the difference between a friend stand-in and a coworker stand-in? How does a relative role differ from a parent role? With multiple services available, the choices can be overwhelming. Our cross-service comparison clears up confusion by clarifying each role's characteristics and ideal scenarios, helping you reach the best plan quickly.

Friend table, relative table, reception desk, speech presenter — when your ceremony requires diverse guest roles, handling each separately is exhausting. With Family Romance, a single point of contact arranges every role, coordinating table placement and story consistency across the board.

For those struggling to decide where to allocate a limited budget. Friend roles and relative roles have different pricing structures, and costs vary significantly depending on option choices. We present base prices and option fees transparently, proposing the optimal combination to match your budget.

You've never used a proxy attendance service before and can't picture the entire process from application to the day of the event. What should you prepare for the advance meeting? How do you meet the staff on the day? This page provides a clear overview of the entire service flow so first-timers can feel confident.

Less than two weeks until the wedding, and you still haven't arranged proxy guests. A sudden cancellation notice means you need replacement personnel immediately. To ensure smooth handling even in emergencies, we also list the minimum lead time required for each plan.

Many people worry about venue-side coordination — how proxy staff check in at the reception, consistency with the seating chart, and whether the wedding planner needs advance notice. Drawing on experience supporting thousands of ceremonies annually, we've built expertise in venue coordination to ensure smooth proceedings on the day.
Our stand-in services can be utilized in a wide variety of events and situations.

In intimate ceremonies with only 10-20 guests, each person's presence matters greatly and empty tables stand out noticeably. Adding just a few friend and coworker stand-ins transforms the entire atmosphere, bringing energy and warmth to the venue. Photos capture vibrant, full-table scenes that look stunning in your wedding album, dramatically elevating the visual quality of your memories.

When guest numbers are lopsided — say 30 on the groom's side and 10 on the bride's — it creates visual awkwardness and puts pressure on both families. Placing friend and relative stand-ins on the smaller side restores balance, creating a comfortable ceremony for everyone and naturally eliminating seating chart irregularities. We also advise on optimal table arrangements.

For those who want to delegate every production element — from reception to toast speeches, entertainment, and after-parties — to dedicated staff. Scenarios are shared among all role-assigned staff in advance, maintaining consistent production quality throughout. Character settings are centrally managed to ensure no contradictions arise even when conversations cross between tables.

When planning a destination wedding in Hawaii or Guam, travel costs may prevent you from inviting enough guests. We arrange locally based Japanese staff or staff willing to travel, assembling a natural guest lineup even overseas. We flexibly accommodate meeting schedules across time zones and familiarize ourselves with local etiquette and venue rules before the event.

For a second marriage, you want a different guest lineup from the first ceremony, but available guests are limited. We design a warm, natural guest group from scratch while being sensitive to the new partner's family. We deliver the reassurance that no one present knows about the previous wedding and create a celebratory atmosphere befitting the start of your new chapter.

A last-minute date change means guests can't make it, or 2-3 people suddenly cancel on the day itself — we handle these emergencies with ease. With a track record of arrangements as short as 3 days before the event, we not only fill empty seats but flexibly adapt to sudden role changes. Even during peak cancellation periods like year-end holidays and long weekends, we quickly build backup support.

Japan's largest agency. Trusted quality.
From friends and coworkers to relatives, parents, after-party guests, and even the groom — every wedding guest role is arranged through a single contact. No need to search for multiple services individually. A dedicated coordinator oversees personnel placement, story settings, and cross-table consistency. Every detail is verified to prevent contradictions among all participants, resulting in natural teamwork on the day that belies the fact that staff members are meeting for the first time.
Combine '3 friends + 2 relatives + 1 receptionist' or 'parent stand-ins + 3 relative roles + speech coverage' — flexibly match roles and headcounts to your ceremony's scale and circumstances. Options (speeches, reception desk, entertainment, toast address) can be freely added on top of each plan's base price. Through pre-consultation, we propose the most cost-effective combination for a waste-free budget allocation.
With extensive experience coordinating with major hotels, wedding venues, and restaurant wedding locations nationwide, we're well-versed in each venue's procedural rules and unique etiquette. From advising on advance coordination with planners to simulating entry and exit timing based on the day's timetable, we provide thorough support that considers the venue's perspective — ensuring stress-free ceremony preparation.
From the initial consultation to the final confirmation on the day, there is no limit on the number of meetings. Available via email, phone, LINE, or online video — consult as many times as you need whenever new questions arise. Especially for first-time users with many concerns, we'll work with you until you're fully satisfied. No additional charges for extra consultations.

This service places a staff member at the reception table as a friend, livening up the ceremony with natural conversation and warm congratulations. Through advance meetings, we establish detailed backstories — how you met, shared hobbies, school-era anecdotes — so that when other guests ask "How do you know each other?" the answers feel completely natural. Our staff know exactly when to applaud and react, functioning as a warm presence that enhances the entire reception atmosphere. Options like reception desk duty, speeches, and entertainment can be added, and multiple staff can be arranged at once as a cohesive friend group.

This service provides staff who attend the reception as workplace colleagues — supervisors, coworkers, or subordinates. Ideal for those who have changed jobs frequently and lack colleagues to invite, or find it difficult to ask due to workplace dynamics. Staff can handle important duties like guest-of-honor speeches and toast addresses, trained to carry themselves with authority matching the assigned title and tenure. Preparation includes business card exchange simulations and industry knowledge briefings to maximize authenticity as workplace companions.

This service provides staff who attend the wedding as relatives — uncles, aunts, cousins, and more. For those with few relatives or estranged from family, balancing the relative tables offers not just visual appeal but emotional reassurance. For family introduction segments, names, relationships, and hometowns are established in advance, enabling natural greetings with the other family's relatives. Staff participate seamlessly in group photos and family-only commemorative shots, with full attendance from ceremony through reception available.

This service provides a father or mother stand-in who fulfills the parental role throughout the entire wedding. When parents cannot attend due to personal circumstances, we handle every parental duty — family greetings, relative introductions, bouquet presentation, and closing addresses. From first conversations with the other family's parents to natural behavior in the waiting room and the post-ceremony send-off, we provide consistent support from start to finish. Staff are meticulously trained in managing expressions during emotional moments and fielding impromptu questions.

This service sends staff to casual after-parties and third-parties as friend guests, energizing the venue atmosphere. In the more relaxed setting compared to the reception, staff actively join games, quizzes, bingo, and other events while keeping conversations lively. Rich options include event coordination, game planning, prize arrangement, and MC hosting — enabling total production of the after-party. A discount applies when combined with wedding proxy attendance services, so many clients book the ceremony and after-party together.

When the groom is unavailable, this service provides a stand-in who fulfills the groom's role throughout the entire wedding. Participation begins from the planning stage with the venue coordinator, covering pre-ceremony photo shoots, rehearsals, the ceremony itself, the reception, and the after-party — all as the groom. Vow recitation, ring exchange gestures, and cake-cutting timing are meticulously rehearsed before the actual event. Natural communication with the other family's parents and relatives is a given, and even coordinated couple photos with the bride are handled.

"I arranged 5 friend stand-ins and 3 relative stand-ins simultaneously. Having a single contact manage everyone's settings meant I didn't have to worry about story contradictions between tables, and I was able to truly enjoy the ceremony with peace of mind. I was impressed when the coordinator proactively asked, 'Is it okay if topics overlap between the friend and relative tables?'"
"At first, I had no idea which plan to choose and called just to consult. After a thorough interview, they proposed a '2 friends + 1 reception staff' plan that matched my ceremony's scale and budget. It was a waste-free, optimal combination, and the ceremony turned out even more wonderful than I'd imagined."
"Five days before the ceremony, 3 friends canceled in succession, and I contacted them in a panic. By the next day, they'd secured 3 replacement staff and completed the backstory meetings within 2 days. On the day, the ceremony proceeded as if nothing had happened, and I was moved by their professional response. Their reliability in emergencies is the real deal."
Yes, you can arrange multiple roles simultaneously — for example, 3 friend stand-ins + 2 relative stand-ins + 1 reception desk staff. A dedicated coordinator oversees the entire personnel placement and story consistency, ensuring no contradictions arise between tables.
Before signing the contract, plan changes and headcount adjustments are freely accommodated. Even after the contract, additional staff can often be arranged up to one week before the ceremony. For reductions, our cancellation policy applies — please contact us as early as possible.
Absolutely. Consultations are completely free, and inquiries are welcome even if you haven't decided on a plan yet. After learning about your ceremony date, venue, scale, and budget, we'll propose the optimal plan and headcount. Even if you decide not to proceed after consulting, there is no charge whatsoever.
We present an itemized quote built up from each plan's base price plus selected options. Since unit prices differ by role — ¥10,000/person for friends, ¥15,000/person for parents — we create a transparent estimate after confirming the total headcount and role composition.
You bear the actual cost from the staff member's residential area to the venue. Since registered staff are located across the country, arranging staff near the venue can reduce transportation costs. If distant travel requires overnight stays, accommodation costs are also borne by you, but these are included in the advance estimate.
No additional costs will arise after the quote is finalized. Even if extension fees are needed, the amount is communicated in advance and never charged without your consent. We are committed to transparent pricing, so you can book with confidence.
